Your New Role
As Senior Media Manager, in a job share part-time role, working two days per week over a 9-month period; you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering AustralianSuper’s paid media strategy across brand, acquisition and retention. Sitting within the Marketing Services Team in our Member Experience and Marketing function, you’ll work with and support an in‑house media team and work closely with agency and media partners to deliver measurable, cost‑effective outcomes.
This is a highly influential role combining strategic leadership, budget management, stakeholder management and hands‑on optimisation across digital media channels, ensuring performance, brand safety and strong ROI for the Fund and its members.
Key duties include but are not limited to;
Leading the paid media strategy from ideation through to execution and ongoing optimisation, aligned to Fund growth objectives.
Partnering with internal stakeholders, media agencies and media partners to measure, optimise and deliver against brand, acquisition and retention targets.
Overseeing the allocation and management of the paid media budget, adjusting investment based on performance and evolving business priorities.
Ensuring strong media governance, controls and brand safety to mitigate risk.
Driving media maturity through test‑and‑learn initiatives, full‑funnel measurement and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need
Proven experience delivering strategic paid media plans that have driven strong commercial outcomes (minimum 10+ years)
Strong capability managing media agencies and external media partnerships.
Experience with brand measurement, Market Mix Modelling, attribution and forecasting methodologies.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline.
Experience working in a regulated environment, Google Marketing Platform exposure and Google certifications will be highly regarded.
