ENEI is being incorporated to progressively ramp-up its operations and effectively prepare for JNPP readiness. The Phase 1 of ENEI Ramp-up will aim to put in place engineering and project processes and demonstrating viability of its business case by performing detailed engineering activities for both, Hinckley Point C & Sizewell C projects in the UK
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with knowledge in Mechanical Equipment / HVAC design and engineering with manufacturing and quality related experience, including good experience in nuclear environments. The ideal candidate will work with experts while evaluation, and implementation of Indian regulations and compliance for the provided equipment’s, application of European / French codes & standards, ensuring compliance with Client qualification requirements and adaptation to the Indian context.
About the Role
This role is a short Term Contract- 6 Months (Extendable)
Skills and Experience
15+ years of experience in Mechanical Equipment / HVAC design engineering, with good exposure to nuclear industry requirements & applications, particularly involving power projects.
• In-depth knowledge of qualification requirements and international standards (including ASME Code/ ISHARE / ASHARE Standards).
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills. • Proven track record in technical specification development and supplier evaluation. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities • Experience in working with multi-national teams and managing large-scale projects in the areas mentioned above
Highly Regarded Skills & Attributes
• Minimum qualification: bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical / chemical engineering
• Conversant with Equipment Design and Engineering with ASME Code/ ASTM D/ ISHARE / ASHARE / EN standards
• Experience of PMS, VMS, CAESAR / AUTOPIPE / PEPS
• Strong communication skills, and punctuality
