commitment to innovation and operational excellence. These investments are
designed to position Baywood as a leader in the timber manufacturing industry,
while delivering long‑term growth, increased production capability and ongoing

across the site.

As part of this growth, we are seeking two experienced

This is a senior, hands‑on trade role at Baywood's Granville manufacturing

  • Operate with a high level of autonomy on complex and high‑impact work
  • Provide practical trade expertise during critical project phases
  • Be flexible with work hours, including availability for after‑hours and
weekend work where required to minimise production disruption
  • Maintain strong safety, quality and housekeeping standards at all times

About You

You are a senior tradesperson who is trusted to work on
complex, high‑impact tasks with minimal supervision.

You will bring:

  • A trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner, Mechanical Fitter, Fitter Welder or other relevant mechanical trade
  • Proven experience with welding and fabrication in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working on large‑scale site projects, shutdowns or major plant upgrades
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
  • A reliable, solutions‑focused approach and strong sense of accountability
  • Flexibility to support project work outside standard hours when required
  • A safety‑first mindset aligned with Baywood’s values and operating standards
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver critical work outcomes
