Job Description

• 
  Preparation of Datasheets /Design Specification / requisition for Rotating Equipment and packages and co-ordinate with the disciplines for obtaining necessary inputs.
• Preparation of Tech. Bid Evaluation of Vendor offers for Rotating Equipment and packages.
• Review Vendor drawings.
• Carry out inspection and Attend FAT for Rotating Equipment and packages as required.
• Support Production and Brownfield teams for installation and pre-commissioning for Rotating Equipment and packages as required.
• Perform Material Handing Studies for the facilities, Co-ordinate with all disciplines for inputs and prepare Material Handling Report.

Qualifications:

Male / Female

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Shall have 6-8 years of experience in handling rotating equipment and packages. Oil and gas background will be added advantage.

Past Experience should include : Extensive hands-on experience in design and engineering of Rotating equipment viz. pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines etc. and process and utility packages.

Should be proficient with the codes and standard for design, selection, inspection and testing including API, BS, ASME, HIS and etc.

Shall be able to independently gather required inputs from concerned disciplines, prepare engineering document viz. specification, datasheets, reports, calculation etc., prepare requisitions, perform technical bid evaluation and carrying vendor document review and interfacing with other disciplines for the required inputs.

Good knowledge of inspection and testing requirement of rotating equipment and process and utility packages.

Commissioning experience will be added advantage.

Good knowledge of selection and specification of Materials is also essential

Good command of English both written and spoken.
