The Role

This individual will serve as a key mechanical engineering resource supporting mission-critical and complex facility projects while collaborating closely with internal engineering teams, clients, and project stakeholders. The person will be responsible for mechanical system design, technical analysis, troubleshooting, and project coordination activities to support successful project execution and long-term client satisfaction.

  • Lead and support mechanical engineering design efforts for mission-critical, data center, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Perform engineering calculations, technical analysis, and system evaluations to support project design and execution.
  • Prepare construction documents, engineering reports, and technical specifications for mechanical systems and related infrastructure.
  • Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, technical staff, and clients throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to mechanical systems, constructability, and operational performance.
  • Participate in client meetings and technical discussions to support project planning, design development, and successful project outcomes.
  • Utilize engineering tools and platforms such as Revit to support project coordination and design activities.
  • Contribute to project management activities while supporting high-quality engineering execution and client service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required along with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or Engineering-in-Training (EIT) designation.
  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience supporting commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or infrastructure projects required.
  • Experience with data centers, central utility systems, and Revit preferred.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, analytical, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and support multiple project initiatives required.
