Vill du vara med och bli en framtida spelare inom vårt operationella team? På Emerson i Mölnlycke jobbar vi med nivåmätning av tankar med hjälp av radar- och akustikbaserade produkter. I dagsläget jobbar vi mot fartygsindustrin, raffinaderier, processindustrin och livsmedelsindustrin. Vi strävar hela tiden efter att förbättra våra existerande produkter samtidigt som vi utvecklar nya produkter för framtida marknader. Hos oss får du jobba med produkter som skall serieproduceras på flertalet olika siter runt om i världen.

Mekanikavdelningen består av knappt tjugo personer i Mölnlycke och Linköping. Vår arbetsmiljö är vänlig och positiv och vi jobbar i tätt samarbete med våra kollegor inom mikrovågsfysik, elektronik och inköp. Vi har fasta platser med närhet till övriga avdelningar och endast en trappa ned till produktionen i Mölnlycke. I Mölnlycke har vi också vårt eget labb där vi kan testa produkter i höga och låga tryck och temperaturer då våra produkter skall klara tuffa krav.

Till vårt operationella team söker vi nu dig som vill förbättra våra produkter, ta ansvar för kvalitetsutredningar, samarbeta med våra globala siter och kundspecifika lösningar.

SOM MEKANIKKONSTRUKTÖR HOS OSS KOMMER DU:

  • Ansvara för kvalitetsutredningar och implementering av produktförbättringar
  • Arbeta i nära samarbete med underleverantörer
  • Ta fram materialspecifikationer och arbeta strukturerat med produkt-BOMar
  • Konstruera i CAD och ta fram nödvändig tillverkningsdokumentation

FÖR DEN HÄR ROLLEN BEHÖVER DU:

  • Vara en skicklig konstruktör med god teknisk förståelse och förmåga att snabbt sätta dig in i nya produkter och teknologier
  • Kunna utveckla lösningar till befintliga produkter och samtidigt ta ägarskap för konstruktionsbeslut
  • Tycka om att utreda, analysera och ta initiativ i tekniska frågor.
  • Ha erfarenhet av att arbeta i CAD-system.
  • Kunna kommunicera tydligt och framföra välgrundade argument.
  • Vara nyfiken och aktivt söka samarbete och nätverksmöjligheter inom organisationen.
  • Känna dig trygg i att bygga produktiva relationer med leverantörer och tvärfunktionella intressenter.
  • Ha ett tryggt, pålitligt och professionellt sätt.
  • Visa ledaregenskaper i hur du driver arbete och samarbete framåt.
  • Behärska engelska väl i tal och skrift.
  • Ha en kandidatexamen eller masterexamen inom maskinteknik, fysik, mekatronik eller motsvarande område, alternativt motsvarande relevant erfarenhet.
  • Ha omfattande erfarenhet (minst 10 år) från en teknisk ingenjörsroll med fokus på utredning, analys och problemlösning.

MERITERANDE KVALIFIKATIONER

  • Erfarenhet av Product Data Management-system (PDM).
  • God förståelse för tillverknings- och bearbetningsprocesser.
  • Kunskaper i svenska.
  • Erfarenhet från en global tillverkningsmiljö.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Mölnlycke.

At Emerson in Mölnlycke, we develop advanced level measurement solutions for process industry tanks using radar- and acoustic-based technologies. Our products serve a wide range of industries, including marine, refining, process manufacturing, and food & beverage. We continuously enhance our existing portfolio while developing innovative solutions for future market needs.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Responsible for quality investigations and the implementation of product improvements
  • Work closely with suppliers and external partners
  • Design in CAD and supply the required manufacturing documentation
  • Develop material specifications and manage product BOMs (Bills of Materials) in a structured manner

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Significant experience (7-10 years minimum) in a technical engineering role involving investigation, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • The ability to develop solutions for existing products while taking ownership of design decisions.
  • Experience working with CAD tools, Enjoy investigating, analyzing, and taking initiative in technical matters
  • Skilled as a design engineer with a strong technical understanding and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new products
  • Have the ability to communicate clearly and present well-founded arguments
  • To be curious and actively seek collaboration and networking opportunities across the organization
  • Confidence in building productive relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and machining processes.
  • Knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage.
  • Experience working within a global manufacturing environment.
