Job Description

Vectorious has developed the world’s first in-heart microcomputer and is on a mission to transform heart failure treatment. As part of our first in-human clinical study, we have successfully implanted our sensory device in patients across Europe and Israel, while demonstrating a huge potential in helping millions of people living with heart failure to take control and manage their disease. As an increasingly growing company we've been accepted to FDA’s prestige Breakthrough Device Designation program.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and to support our meaningful growth.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead end-to-end mechanical development projects from concept to production.
  • Develop system architectures and detailed mechanical designs for implantable and external medical devices.
  • Perform engineering analyses, prototype development, and testing activities to support product development and design decisions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with System, Electrical, Software, Quality, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Lead technical investigations, reliability activities, and product improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Generate clear and comprehensive engineering documentation, including technical reports, test protocols, test reports, design reviews, and development summaries, and present key findings to cross-functional teams and management.

Requirements

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering. MSc or PhD – an advantage
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical product development.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects from concept through production.
  • Ability to independently lead technical activities and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in mechanical design, prototyping, testing and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, including GD&T and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience in the medical device industry, preferably implantable devices – an advantage
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: implantable systems, electronic packaging, thermal management, reliability engineering, or FEA analysis – an advantage
