As Senior Mechanical Engineer. You'll spearhead the design and development of advanced systems for our Recycling Machines, driving environmental change.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize electro-mechanical systems and components
Create detailed mechanical designs (3D models, assemblies, and Engineering BoMs) using CAD tools
Ensure product robustness, reliability, and manufacturability through design reviews and tolerance analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, manufacturing) to deliver high-quality products
Support validation of components and adapt designs for local sourcing
Drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges, including implementing design changes
Analyze customer issues using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., A3, Fishbone)
Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
7+ years of experience in engineering design, including strong proficiency in SolidWorks (3D)
Strong analytical, technical, and creative problem-solving skills
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving methodologies
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and with external partners
Willingness to travel internationally (Germany & USA)
Fluent in English and Romanian
