Engineering Task Leader (ETL) – Floor Mats, CAB Living

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Task Leader (ETL) to join our team, focusing on floor mats/carpets within the automotive industry, specifically in the truck sector. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of interior development, including injection-molded plastics, and demonstrate leadership in cross-functional engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design technical solutions aligned with function, style, cost, quality, and regulations.
  • Lead mechanical design engineering activities in floor mats/carpets and related components.
  • Ensure design readiness and quality before release while integrating deliveries from other teams.
  • Provide input to product and system roadmaps based on component history.
  • Actively develop team members and contribute to organizational knowledge-sharing.
  • Network with universities, external institutes, and internal stakeholders to drive innovation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the truck industry
  • Proven knowledge in floor mats/carpets and injection-molded plastics within automotive interiors.
  • Experience with QDCF processes and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5; experience with KOLA and PDM-link preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and a T-shaped profile with expertise across a broad toolkit.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence, mentor, and create value beyond assigned responsibilities.
