This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally.   • Apply technical engineering techniques and methods using international design standards such as UK, US, and Middle East Mechanical Design Codes.
  • Conduct internal review and quality checks of engineering drawings and design calculations to ensure compliance with the project's requirements.
  • Liaise with other disciplines within the MEP Project Team for coordination MEP works and ensure all requirements are understood.
  • Prepare and register all relevant documentation and design reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and in compliance with the Arcadis requirements.
  • Liaise with the Function Leaders and Design Manager to keep informed of all developments or changes associated with the project.
  • Identify risks and potential deviations to the project's required scope of work.
  • Ensure compliance with scope of works, time schedule and cost control.
  • Deliver technically complete design documentation, summary reports and technical reports for Design Managers
  • Record man-hour charges accurately into weekly timesheets and ensure correctness of project and non-project man-hour charges.
  • Resource and develop skills and knowledge base of Design, Assistant and Graduate Engineers assigned to projects.
  • Liaise with BIM Manager and BIM Coordinators assigned to projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME).
  • 8 to 10 years minimum relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Highly proficient in the following mechanical engineering design fundamentals: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in AUTOCAD, REVIT, Navisworks and BIM environment.
  • Highly proficient in using the following engineering software: REVIT IES, HAP, SKETCHUP and PIPEFLO and NAVISWORKS.
