
Job Title: Senior Mechanic / Workshop Supervisor
Salary: £40,000 £50,000 + Overtime (DOE) + Yearly Bonus

As Senior Mechanic / Workshop Supervisor, youll not only carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a wide range of vehicles including electric and hyperideal also be responsible for leading and supervising a team of technicians. You'll take ownership of daily workshop operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety remain top priority.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on the tools but is also confident guiding others and driving performance within the workshop.
Diagnose, service, and repair all makes and models of vehicles
Work on electric and hybrid vehicles (EV experience essential)
Lead and manage a team of technicians delegating tasks, mentoring, and overseeing quality
Coordinate daily workflow and ensure jobs are completed efficiently
Liaise with service advisors and management for smooth workshop operations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Uphold compliance with all health and safety guidelines

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Rotational Saturdays (details shared at interview)
Overtime available
Annual performance-based bonus
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the UK
UK Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent)
EV certification and experience working on electric vehicles
Proven experience in supervising or leading a workshop team
Full UK driving licence with a clean record
Your own set of tools
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Strong leadership qualities with a professional, can-do attitude
