Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the M&E team, ensuring maintenance, repair, and replacement works are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Conduct inspections, troubleshoot, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building management, and other M&E systems.

• Supervise and evaluate vendors and M&E technicians, ensuring compliance with work scopes, statutory requirements, and EHS standards.

• Review and interpret tenant-submitted drawings for fit-out, renovation, and reinstatement works; provide guidance on simple M&E designs.

• Liaise with contractors, certify job completions, and monitor vendor performance to enhance service delivery.

• Manage procurement activities including purchase requisitions and orders, and maintain accurate records of maintenance, incidents, and team attendance.

• Attend to tenant requests, complaints, and feedback, maintaining strong tenant relations and ensuring smooth building operations.

• Support M&E upgrading projects, develop operational procedures, and implement cost-control initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Fire Safety Manager certification is an advantage.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven ability to manage a team, including executives and technicians.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.

• Ability to work independently, lead projects, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced building environment.
