
To ensure an effective and efficient functioning of the contract inventory, and investment recovery, process involving an inventory excess of 30,000-line items, while providing high service level requirements. To monitor warehouse inventory operations and provide recommendations for improvement. To revise, implement, and update the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) as necessary, in order to optimize Seminole's inventory investment. To review existing trends, technology and potential developments in the field of materials management and evaluates their use at SECI. Develops training programs for the department including EAMS training documentation. Provide reports to the Supply Management Department as requested. To serve as backup to the Materials Manager on the Supply Management Unified Command Remote Support Team in case of disaster.
Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field required. Two (2) years of materials, logistics, contracting, investment recovery, or inventory related courses required. Five (5) years of analytical materials management, logistics, investment recovery, contract management, or inventory experience is required. Two (2) years of appropriate experience may be substituted for each year of academics. Additional courses in materials management after degree preferred. Applicable professional certifications highly desirable.

Must be able to follow established protective measures including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report. Must be able to lift heavy objects on occasions, up to 50 lbs. Must wear a hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses while at plants.
Normal office working conditions with some overnight travel and work outside of normal business hours at construction sites for field work, pre-bid meetings, project meetings and/or implementation and contractor oversight. While working in certain areas of the plant there is the potential for exposure to hazards typical of an industrial working environment. Must attend related professional courses, training and seminars that may involve overnight stays of up to one week.
