Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day warehouse coordination, support contractor and facility maintenance activities, manage obsolete and capital project inventory, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on warehouse experience, proficiency with various mobile equipment and our E1 CMMS. Candidate must also be able to participate in our rotating after-hours 24/7 on-call schedule for our central warehouse.

  • Coordinate placement, storage, shipping, receiving and retrieval of MRO spare parts at CRW for Pulp & Paper division sites
  • Sort, itemize & catalogue obsolete parts sent from sites for sale or salvage, and source potential vendors
  • Coordinate contractor activities for CRW warehouse facility...ie Backflows, heating, sprinkler system PM’s, crane inspections, emergency lighting, and racking inspections etc
  • Store & manage capital project items for Pulp & Paper division temporarily at warehouse
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and a 5S plan with a score above 4.0 for the CRW warehouse
  • Proficiency with various mobile equipment operation and overhead crane
  • Proficiency with E1 CMMS system for work orders, PM’s, PO’s, MDM’s and inventory management
  • Coordinate warehouse preventive & corrective facility maintenance. ie. heating system inspections, crane inspections, emergency light inspections, etc.
  • Manage selected ASCO Project initiatives and other improvement projects.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call schedule for warehouse access and part retrieval

Minimum Qualifications

  • Technology or Trade diploma, Red Seal Journeyperson certification, or equivalent maintenance or material handling related education and experience.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, equipment drawings, and vendor manuals.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a pulp and paper or heavy industrial environment.
  • Experience with JD Edwards (E1) or equivalent CMMS systems.
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning, material handling, asset management.
  • Experience managing bills of materials, inventory data, and spare parts programs.
