The candidate should have hands-on experience on Global Material Compliance process, IMDS/CAMDS creation, CMRT process, Supplier parts validation. The material compliance engineer will validate the selected parts to be compliant with ELV, WEEE, REACH and many other ever-changing global environmental regulations.
Principal Responsibilities
ØPerform IMDS validation and respond to inquiries about part compliance
ØTo make sure global compliance processes are followed and have a closed loop.
ØExperienced in drawings review, PLC, resolving technical compliance issues related to substance data and supplier information
ØManage accurate substance data information in the database which helps product designers to select parts compliant to RoHS, REACH, and many other global environmental regulations.
ØWork together with team to ensure that parts and products sourced and manufactured by Kautex are compliant with global environmental regulations and customer requirements.
ØTrack regulatory compliance and understand impact to Kautex products.
ØBachelor of Engineering in (Chemical, Mechanical, Polymer) discipline, with minimum of 1-6 years of experience.
Ø1-4 Experience in material Compliance
ØFamiliar with one or more of the following: RoHS, REACH, Battery Directive, Packaging directive or WEEE.
ØBill of materials (BOM) and data management experience (SAP preferred)
ØExcellent Microsoft skills
ØBackground in component materials
ØStrong oral and written communication skills
ØFamiliarity with environmental compliance standards (RoHS, REACH, CMRT) is preferred
