TPG Telecom started with a belief that we can make things better for Australians. We believe in the power of meaningful relationships to support vibrant, connected communities where everyone belongs. It’s our why; our reason to exist. Now, we’re proud to be one of Australia’s leading mobile and internet providers. We’re not just redefining telco, we’re changing its course. And you play a role in that. A big one. The opportunities are plenty for those who are ready to accept the challenge.

Could that be you?

Your opportunity:

The Senior Martech Specialist is accountable for the technical ownership and operation of a core customer marketing data platform that underpins large‑scale, multi‑brand campaign execution.

This is a highly data‑centric role requiring strong expertise in database structures, schemas, integrations, and SQL‑driven execution. The role is accountable for platform stability, campaign enablement, data integrity, and compliance assurance, operating with a high degree of autonomy and technical authority. It suits a senior Martech professional who enjoys owning complex systems end‑to‑end and solving non‑standard problems at the core of customer engagement.

The role is responsible for designing how campaign requirements are met through data in / data out, logging, permissions, and integrations, while ensuring platform stability, compliance, and continuous uplift of core capability.

This is a senior, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working close to the data, owning complex systems end‑to‑end, and acting as a technical authority across Martech, Data, IT, and Compliance.

You'll make impact by:

  • Own the technical operation and data architecture of a core marketing platform, accountable for stability, performance, data integrity, and operational risk.
  • Design and implement data‑led solutions to support campaign requirements, including data ingestion, transformation, availability, logging, and outputs.
  • Enable and govern high‑complexity campaign execution, including advanced audience segmentation, campaign data logic, execution design, and validation of outcomes.
  • Act as the subject‑matter expert for existing data schemas and campaign logic, including understanding how upstream enterprise data layers are structured and utilised for marketing purposes.
  • Support BAU campaign delivery, including build, modification, and validation of data and logic required for campaign execution.
  • Lead platform maintenance and uplift, including deliverability monitoring, configuration reviews (e.g. SMTP), permissions logic, and base capability improvements.
  • Own compliance assurance and governance, including permissions configuration, gap remediation, and support for MSA reviews, PIAs, TRAs, audits, and regulatory investigations.

What you’ll bring:

  • A highly technical, hands-on, and driven professional with exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including technical architects, business stakeholders, data governance specialists, analytics professionals, and IT teams.
  • Deep experience operating data‑centric platforms, with a strong understanding of database structures, data models, and schemas, and how they are designed to support campaign requirements through integrations and logic.
  • Strong hands‑on SQL capability, including designing data flows and writing, executing, validating, and troubleshooting queries to support data ingestion, availability, validation, logging, and operational marketing use cases.
  • Strong understanding of marketing permissions frameworks and compliance with ACMA regulations, including the Spam Act and Privacy Act.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience operating in regulated marketing environments, with exposure to permissions management, compliance testing, and risk mitigation.
  • Confidence acting as a technical SME, able to understand existing solutions quickly, identify gaps, and apply sound judgement in complex environments.
  • Portrait Dialogue experience is highly desirable.

What's in it for you?

  • Flexible hybrid way of working (from home and office)
  • ‘Stay Connected Mobile’ – Access to a free mobile plan
  • ‘Stay Connected NBN’ – Access to a free, high‑speed NBN plan (up to 500 Mbps)
