Marketing Communications Manager Indonesia

At Hach, we ensure water quality for people around the world. Protecting water, the most valuable resource, and driving sustainability is very close to our hearts. You will be part of a flexible, family-friendly organization that cares about its people just as it cares about the environment.

We recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent. Diversity of experience and skills combined with passion is a key to innovation and excellence. Therefore, we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply to our positions.

As our Marketing Communications Manager, you will plan and execute successful growth‑driven marketing activities across Indonesia and acting as the primary marketing point of contact. This role focuses on hands‑on execution, coordination and local market delivery in close collaboration with Sales and Commercial teams. As part of the APAC Marketing team, you will work closely with Regional and Global Marketing colleagues to adapt, localise and execute Global and Regional campaigns, while also leading the development of local growth campaigns from strategy through to execution.

We are looking for a proactive, resilient and highly autonomous individual, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You will report to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager APAC and will act as the pivot person for demand‑generating marketing activities, monitor results across the marketing and sales funnel, and support improved sales opportunity‑to‑booking conversion. This will ultimately drive revenue growth through lead generation and digital commerce, in alignment with Hach’s Commercial Plan.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Drive revenue generation from marketing leads through creating and executing successful multi‑channel marketing campaigns (from A to Z), while also adapting and localising Global and Regional campaigns to local market needs.
  • Act as the primary marketing point of contact for Indonesia, working autonomously with local Sales teams, supporting local distributors, and aligning closely on priorities, messaging and campaign focus.
  • Plan, organise and execute offline events, including tradeshows, seminars and workshops, to boost brand visibility and customer engagement, coordinating logistics, materials and follow‑ups.
  • Create, adapt and localise marketing materials such as presentations, brochures, posters, banners, emails, videos and other promotional assets, supporting both locally developed campaigns and Global/Regional programmes, including translations into Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Execute marketing activities and content creation across key channels, including but not limited to Social Media, Web, Search (paid and organic), Email, PR, Digital Advertising, Sales enablement activities and events.
  • Track and monitor performance across the full marketing and sales funnel, from early engagement metrics (e.g. clicks and traffic) through lead creation, conversion rate, bookings and revenue, and collaborate with Sales and Lead Qualification teams to improve sales opportunity‑to‑booking conversion.
  • Participate in country growth meetings and leadership roundtables, contributing marketing insight to commercial priorities, growth initiatives and business planning.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
  • 5+years strong hands‑on experience in B2B marketing, covering demand/lead generation across digital and offline channels, with a solid understanding of the B2B sales cycle and funnel management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to operate effectively in global matrixed organisation with shared accountability across sales, regional, and global teams.
  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to balance initiative with an understanding of organisational complexity, ensuring alignment with established processes and ways of working.
  • Experience coordinating tradeshows, customer events and/or webinars, including working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Familiarity with marketing software and platforms such as Google Analytics, SEO tools, Marketo, Canva, Photoshop, Wrike, Copilot, and other relevant tools is a plus. Experience managing social media channels, including LinkedIn, is also advantageous.
  • Highly autonomous, resilient and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good working proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia (including support for translations); business-fluent English required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for trade shows, events and business needs.

We offer:

  • Flexible working hours, onsite and WFH.
  • Professional onboarding and training options.
