Job Description

About the Role

Fortegra is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to support sales enablement, strengthen partner communications, and contribute to revenue growth through well-executed marketing strategy and execution. Reporting to the Manager of Performance Marketing, this role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, sales enablement, marketing operations, and business development within a specialty insurance environment.

This individual will develop and manage sales enablement resources, streamline internal workflows, and elevate the quality and consistency of business development materials that communicate Fortegra's insurance products and service contract offerings to retail and distribution partners. The role requires a disciplined approach to project management, strong written communication, and the ability to translate complex insurance concepts, products, and program structures into clear, compelling, partner-ready content.

The ideal candidate is a strong B2B marketer first, with a practical understanding of how AI, automation, and modern marketing technologies can improve productivity, content development, and business processes. The candidate will bring proven corporate marketing experience, strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and familiarity with modern marketing tools and platforms, including AI-assisted productivity tools. Experience in insurance, financial services, or another complex B2B or regulated industry is a meaningful advantage. This role operates in an environment where accuracy, compliance awareness, and the ability to work within established guidelines are essential. The Senior Marketing Specialist will partner closely with sales leadership, underwriting, product teams, technology, and marketing stakeholders to ensure Fortegra's teams are equipped with clear messaging, scalable resources, and effective processes that support growth across our partner distribution channels.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage AI-assisted sales enablement resources, including proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and partner-facing marketing materials that support business development efforts.
  • Build and maintain reusable content libraries, prompt frameworks, templates, and knowledge repositories that improve the speed, consistency, and quality of future sales and marketing deliverables.
  • Partner with sales leadership and business line stakeholders to translate complex products, initiatives, and business priorities into clear, compelling partner communications and deal-supporting materials.
  • Gather requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and bring structure to ambiguous or fast-moving marketing and sales requests.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline marketing, sales, and CRM workflows through AI-enabled tools and automation by evaluating friction points and recommending solutions that improve usability, efficiency, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Support the development and execution of Fortegra's AI strategy across marketing functions, including lead generation, partner communications, content development, and CRM optimization.
  • Collaborate with creative teams using AI-supported tools to accelerate the development of campaign assets, training materials, presentations, and partner-ready collateral while maintaining Fortegra's brand standards.
  • Monitor emerging AI technologies and marketing tools, run structured pilots, and recommend solutions that can improve productivity, insight generation, workflow efficiency, or content quality.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and product stakeholders to communicate the value of Fortegra's AI-enabled capabilities and support related go-to-market efforts.
  • Support SEO, AEO, and GEO initiatives through AI-assisted research, content optimization, and performance analysis. Maintain website content and CMS updates tied to campaign initiatives and digital performance. Coordinate AEO/GEO monitoring in partnership with Fortegra's digital agency to improve Fortegra's visibility across AI-powered and LLM-driven search experiences.
  • Track adoption, usage, and performance of sales enablement resources and marketing workflows, using insights to continuously improve content, processes, and team effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in B2B marketing, sales enablement, marketing operations, content marketing, or a related marketing discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales teams, senior leadership, product teams, and internal stakeholders in a corporate environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and maintain quality under competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, business-ready messaging.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Ability to gather requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and bring structure to complex or ambiguous requests.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, content management systems, and Microsoft Office — particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and their practical application in marketing, content development, research, or workflow efficiency.
  • Familiarity with SEO, AEO, GEO, or digital performance marketing principles; experience working with a digital agency is a plus.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, technology, or another complex B2B or regulated industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing sales enablement materials, RFP responses, proposals, or other business development content.
  • Experience building scalable content libraries, templates, knowledge repositories, or AI prompt frameworks.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for workflow automation or improving marketing and CRM processes.
  • Experience with website content management and digital analytics.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about emerging AI and marketing technologies, with the ability to evaluate their practical business applications.
  • Experience working with sales, underwriting, product, or other commercial teams in a complex B2B environment.
