The Job Responsibilities

The Senior Marketing Manager for Neonatal Care focuses on strategy and programs to drive market share expansion of our intensive care portfolio in the US market. This role blends clinical expertise, product management, and commercial marketing to drive market adoption, accelerate growth, and position the organization as a trusted partner in neonatal care. The Senior Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical Education, Operations, Product Management, and Strategic Accounts to translate clinical insights into compelling value propositions that resonate with Neonatal stakeholders, hospital leadership and Integrated Delivery Networks.

This role works closely with the Director of Marketing in executing the Go-To Market strategy, collaborates with global product management in adapting portfolio positioning to the local market, and supports regional sales and marketing in ensuring proper marketing programs, sales tools, training and customer support.

Strategic Marketing & Commercial Leadership

  • Execute go-to-market strategies for neonatal care solutions aligned with business growth objectives
  • Define and refine value propositions grounded in clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and total cost of ownership
  • Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities to inform portfolio strategy

Clinical & Market Insight Integration

  • Translate neonatal clinical expertise into credible, evidence-based marketing narratives aligned with the latest guidelines (e.g., AAP, NRP)
  • Partner with clinicians and KOLs to develop case studies, clinical evidence, and education programs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for neonatal workflows, NICU operations, and patient care pathways
  • Drive engagement at industry conferences and build strategic relationships to improve exposure to Draeger mission and vision

Sales Enablement

  • Create and deliver product training, competitive training, and ad-hoc product support as required to increase customer knowledge/utilization and perceived value of the product solution
  • Develop and deliver sales tools and customer presentations, including supporting direct sales calls when required
  • Coordinate/collaborate with sales and contract administration teams to effectively and efficiently facilitate and support the RFP/GPO bidding process
  • Support the Clinical Application Team to optimize implementation and customer training and improve technology adoption

Product and Portfolio Management

  • Act as a regional product expert on all product functionality
  • Provide input to product management teams to assure development is in alignment with local area requirements to optimize product profitability
  • Create internal/external communications for product updates, critical changes, and customer service issues
  • Interact with appropriate staff to support product requirements as necessary and ensure product line performs according to plan.

Connected Solutions

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization with areas including Digital Analytics, Patient Monitoring, Service, Consumables and Workplace Infrastructure to position and drive holistic, integrated solutions for Neonatal Care customers.

  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field, or the equivalent in education, training and experience. MBA a plus.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in medical device marketing, product management, or healthcare sales
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Analytical skills to break down complex topics into workable packages
  • Ability to drive customer presentations in front of small and large groups
  • Project management skills

  • Ability to manage without authority
  • Ability to travel by automobile, train, plane nationally between 10-20% and internationally approximately 5% of the time.
