About The Role

Stay AI is looking for a marketer who is equal parts strategist and doer. You'll own how we show up in the market: from competitive positioning to sales messaging to the content that makes every merchant on a competing platform wish they'd switched sooner. This is not a "build a team and delegate" role. You'll be in the weeds writing copy, shaping messaging, briefing BDRs, and making sure our product story actually lands.

You'll report directly to the CEO and work hand-in-hand with our Head of Sales and Head of Product to drive pipeline and create real FOMO in the market. We have genuinely better product than our competitors. Your job is to make sure the market knows it.

What You'll Own

• Competitive positioning: Deep understanding of Stay AI’s platform, the Shopify subscription landscape, and our key competitors. You'll know our differentiators cold and build messaging that makes switching feel obvious.
• Sales enablement: Arm BDRs and AEs with the decks, one-pagers, battle cards, and monthly messaging playbooks they need to win. You'll be in the virtual room with the sales team regularly.
• Product marketing: Translate product launches and feature releases into market-facing narratives that resonate with DTC brands. You'll make sure our best features are visible, findable, and impossible to ignore.
• Content and channel strategy: Own our presence across LinkedIn, the website, email, and whatever channels move the needle. You'll produce content yourself that resonates with the market using AI tools, and know how to do it efficiently.
• Market narrative: Control the story. Define what we're attacking each month, which features we're spotlighting, and how we're positioning against the competition across every touchpoint.

What You'll Bring

• 5–8 years in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally with exposure to ecommerce, DTC, or the Shopify ecosystem
• You’ve had prior success in product marketing and/or growth marketing roles: owning product positioning, translating features into high-converting messaging, and executing scrappy, data-driven experiments that build measurable pipeline
• You’ve gone from 0-to-1 are excited by building
• You're a storyteller: you can take a strong product and build a market narrative that creates real urgency with the right buyers
• You use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate market research, content personalization, and campaign analysis
• You're proficient in Salesforce or HubSpot and understand how marketing and sales data connect
• You write your own copy: messaging frameworks, landing pages, email sequences, and sales collateral
• You understand the sales motion and know how to support a revenue team, not just brand-build
• You have a point of view on positioning and can defend it in a room with the CEO and Head of Sales
• You move fast, iterate, and don't wait for perfect

What This Is Not

This is not a role for someone who needs a team to execute. You'll eventually have support, but you need to be the one producing and shipping.
