Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager with a strong background in Asset Management, ETF Marketing, and Financial Services Marketing to support the delivery of high-impact marketing initiatives for the client. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional partners — including business stakeholders, product teams, agency partners, and marketing functions — to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with business objectives and brand standards.

This role is ideal for a strategic, detail-oriented marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing complex marketing campaigns, vendor relationships, reporting, and stakeholder engagement within regulated financial services organizations.

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Contract Length: 12 Months (Extension or FTE Conversion Possible)
Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST


Pay: T4: $61.5 // IC: $71
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage integrated marketing campaigns end-to-end, from strategic planning through execution and performance analysis.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with business objectives, brand standards, and client acquisition/retention strategies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors to deliver effective marketing solutions and campaigns.
  • Act as the day-to-day contact for marketing vendors and support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of vendor solutions.
  • Provide strategic marketing advice and recommendations to business stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Analyze campaign performance, business trends, customer insights, and market data to inform decision-making and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Coordinate marketing budgets, reporting, and performance tracking against established objectives and milestones.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate campaign results, recommendations, and strategic insights.
  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to support continuous improvement and innovation across marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between marketing, sales, product, and business strategies.
  • Support the execution of enterprise and business unit strategic initiatives through effective planning and stakeholder coordination.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving issues impacting execution.
  • Apply sound judgment and risk awareness while ensuring compliance with enterprise marketing, regulatory, and risk management standards.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to support efficient delivery and operational excellence.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–7+ years of progressive marketing experience within asset management, ETFs, financial services, or banking environments.
  • Strong experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and strategic marketing plans.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting marketing initiatives related to investment products, asset management, or ETFs.
  • Experience working with agencies, vendors, and cross-functional business stakeholders in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, reporting, budgeting, and campaign performance measurement.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with marketing reporting tools, dashboards, Excel, PowerPoint, and related business applications.

PREFERRED

  • Previous experience within large financial institutions or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Media agency experience or experience working closely with agency partners.
  • Experience supporting asset management, investment products, or ETF-focused marketing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of financial services compliance, governance, and risk management practices.
  • Experience building executive-level presentations, reporting dashboards, and performance summaries.

EDUCATION

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or related discipline.
