Job Description

Beacon is partnering with a high-growth healthcare AI company to identify a Marketing Lead, Healthcare AI. This is an opportunity for a sharp, generalist marketer to work at the forefront of clinical AI and build the marketing engine from the ground up at one of the most innovative companies in the space.

About the Client

Our client is a mission-driven healthcare technology company building the world's largest AI training and clinical development platform. Working at the intersection of healthcare data, product innovation, and applied AI, the organization partners with AI developers, pharma, and medical device companies to make high-quality clinical data accessible while maintaining a high bar for patient safety and data quality. Backed by deep expertise across health systems, clinical research, and AI, this team is building the infrastructure for any healthcare organization to develop responsible clinical AI products.

About the Role

Our client is seeking their first dedicated marketing hire. A director-level generalist who will own the full marketing function and build it from scratch. This is a highly visible role for someone who thrives on complex problems, is genuinely curious about healthcare AI, and knows how to operate with leverage using modern tools. This person will work directly with the CEO to translate vision and mission into stories that resonate with pharma, biotech, and life sciences audiences. Brand identity and website are handled by an external partner. Everything else (like content strategy, product launches, field presence, and thought leadership) is owned by this role.

This is not a traditional marketing role. It is a builder position for someone who can operate as a team of one, coordinate inputs across an organization, and create a marketing engine that scales.

Responsibilities

Product Marketing

  • Develop and own the company's messaging framework - translating a complex multimodal data platform into compelling narratives for life sciences, pharma, and health system audiences
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new product and use-case launches in partnership with product and commercial teams
  • Create and maintain sales collateral, one-pagers, case studies, and demo materials

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Build and manage a content calendar spanning LinkedIn posts, blog articles, scientific communications, and newsletter content
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and amplify their thought leadership voice across channels
  • Commission and edit content that speaks to both business buyers and scientific/clinical audiences

Field Marketing & Events

  • Own the company's presence at industry conferences, clinical AI events, and life sciences summits — from selection through logistics and follow-up
  • Coordinate PR opportunities, media pitches, and speaker application submissions
  • Track the industry calendar and proactively identify high-leverage event opportunities

Marketing Operations

  • Manage the marketing calendar, coordinate inputs across the organization, and ensure consistent execution
  • Leverage AI tools to amplify output - content generation, event discovery, competitive monitoring, and reporting
  • Work with the external brand agency to ensure consistency across all produced materials

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of marketing experience with an emphasis on product marketing
  • Experience at a B2B startup or scale-up, ideally in life sciences, digital health, healthcare IT, or data platforms
  • Proven ability to build narratives for complex, technical products and translate them for non-technical buyers
  • Excellent writer with the ability to adapt voice and style for scientific, business, and general audiences
  • AI-native: you use AI tools as a core part of your workflow, not an experiment
  • Comfortable operating as a team of one while coordinating inputs from across an organization
  • Familiarity with life sciences, pharma, or healthcare - you don't need a PhD, but you shouldn't need us to explain what a clinical trial is
  • Strong organizational skills and a bias for structured systems - you can own a marketing calendar without losing threads

Benefits & Why Join

  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of healthcare AI and help shape how transformative technologies are communicated and adopted
  • High-impact, highly visible role with direct exposure to the CEO, strategic clients, and cutting-edge products
  • Collaborative, mission-oriented culture that values curiosity, creativity, and thoughtful problem-solving
  • Competitive benefits package
  • A chance to build something from the ground up at a company creating meaningful infrastructure for the future of healthcare innovation
