JOB PURPOSE:
You will be responsible for executing the marketing strategy for an online news and digital solutions platform for the energy industry. The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for reporting, testing, coordinating relations among internal stake holders, communicating with suppliers, managing media partnerships, coordinate website content, among others. The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for assisting in developing effective marketing strategies and campaign plans to grow website visitors, social media following and deliver high quality leads for sales and webinars. The Senior Marketing Executive will also put forward ideas, develop new initiatives, take on new tasks as required by the marketing manager and apply their digital marketing experience.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Coordinate partnerships internally alongside marketing managers and event marketing teams.
Keep track of media campaigns and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of the campaigns.
Assist the marketing manager with the handling of social media platforms.
Prepare briefing for design and website developer for changes and executions of campaigns.
Coordinate and work closely with design and event marketing teams to create branding and advertising materials that are on brand and deliver them on time to partners
Work closely with content, sales and event marketing teams to create and copy write targeted partnership materials that carry the right messaging and tone of voice
Work closely with marketing manager to ensure all campaigns and actions implemented ensure a higher traffic to the website.
Plan, manage and execute the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns across social, print, web, digital and email
Track and analyse partnership marketing activities to ensure partnership marketing is delivering effective results
Ensuring our deliverables to partners are executed and that partners receive the relevant exposure outlined on contracts before, during and after the events in return for their services
Contribute to all aspects of marketing activity, ensuring best practice marketing techniques, and communicating a clear promotional message.
Create and issue promotional electronic newsletters (HTML & Text); become an ‘expert’ in what constitutes an effective email campaign
Apply SEO knowledge and recommend ways to enhance user journey.
Utilise and manage digital tools (i.e. App, survey tool) to enhance campaigns.
Lead copy writing, design and production of marketing materials, and emails.
Marketing administration including proof reading, delivering advertising copy, responding to enquiries, monitoring competitor activity etc.
Support the implementation of research projects to review customer satisfaction and identify developments opportunity.

• Experience in the use of databases in both mass and targeted direct marketing campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Social media and digital channels savvy
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and relate to all levels both within and outside the organisation.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• A great multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines and handle different campaigns at the same time.
• Copy writing. Excellent verbal and written English
• HTML proficient
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Experience using any of the following will be an advantage but not necessary: Salesforce or similar database systems; Canva;
