HealthPartners is hiring a Senior Marketing Consultant – Dental Plan The Senior Marketing Consultant is a strategic, senior-level individual contributor responsible for leading large, complex marketing initiatives with a high degree of autonomy. This role serves as a key partner in shaping marketing strategy, driving planning efforts, and executing integrated campaigns that support business growth.

With a primary focus on dental marketing, this position plays a critical role in advancing strategic growth priorities by developing and activating targeted marketing campaigns across all dental plan offerings. The consultant translates business objectives into effective marketing strategies, ensures alignment across stakeholders, and delivers high-quality, results-driven work.

This role reports to a Senior Manager of Marketing and is part of a collaborative team of six marketing professionals, including supervisors and consultants, fostering a strong environment of partnership, expertise, and shared accountability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience totaling four (4) years.
  • Five (5) years of progressive marketing experience
  • Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking and problem solving.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience managing budgets and accountability for financial outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrates accountability for decisions and actions, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Clear, timely, and effective communicator who actively listens, asks thoughtful questions, and values diverse perspectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in health plan or healthcare marketing, preferably on the payer side with dental health plan exposure. Consideration will be given to candidates from other highly regulated industries if healthcare experience is not present.
  • Demonstrated market and audience expertise in healthcare or related regulated industries, with the ability to translate insights into targeted marketing strategies.
  • Ability to interpret and synthesize data to inform marketing strategy and performance, translate insights into actionable narratives, and leverage tools such as Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Experience developing strategies and campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences.

Hours/Location:

  • M-F; core business hours
  • This position follows a hybrid work model, with an expected onsite presence Tuesday through Thursday at the Bloomington corporate office. Additional on-site days may be required for meetings or team-related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns marketing large and moderately complex marketing projects.
  • Maintains deep knowledge of their business area with broad range of marketing/communications capabilities.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for enhanced relationships and engagement with partners internally and externally including leaders.
  • Integrally involved in marketing strategic plan development, may lead/own parts of strategic planning. Develops and executes strategic planning briefs.
  • Researches, applies insights and data to marketing solutions.
  • Determines priority of work within a larger body of work aligned with strategy. Tracks and measures against goals and KPIs
  • Guide projects through ambiguity, solving problems and removing barriers, and making trade off decisions as needed.
  • Interprets and understand a strategy and ability to judge the execution against its delivery of the strategy.
  • Implements seamlessly and proactively identify opportunities in both strategy, execution, and process.
  • Leads from within the team and confident in partnering with leaders of all levels from across the organization. Coordinates with specialty teams for each marketing channel
  • Performs other duties and projects assigned.
