
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant to lead digital marketing customer acquisition strategies with a focus on acquiring new-to-Wells Fargo prospects and starters/students.

Growth Marketing is responsible for driving profitable growth in new customers and balances through integrated, data-driven marketing strategies. This role will lead a high-impact, cross-functional team spanning marketing execution, analytics, finance, product, etc. to identify, implement, and scale innovative digital marketing capabilities that accelerate customer growth and deliver seamless, customer-obsessed experiences. In this high-impact role, you will own and scale innovative, data-driven marketing strategies that drive new-to-bank customer growth—directly influencing one of the Consumer Bank’s top priorities.
The ideal candidate is highly quantitative, curious and collaborate with an innate performance mindset. This is a high-visibility role, which offers opportunities for creativity and innovation, while helping to deliver significant production at strong returns through effective marketing campaigns.
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement multi-million-dollar comprehensive digital marketing strategies to acquire new customers in checking accounts and improve customer experience (e.g., Paid Search, Organic Search, Affiliates, Email, Ads, Paid Social, LLM/AI optimized advertising, etc.)
Lead the adoption of emerging capabilities (e.g., AI/LLM-driven marketing, advanced targeting, and automation) to continuously evolve how we acquire customers
Craft well-structured strategic digital marketing plans using qualitative and quantitative data to produce measurable results
Partner with multiple cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end digital performance - across page traffic, account profitability, and budget metrics
Deliver executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, including C-suite stakeholders
Champion a test-and-learn culture, driving experimentation and continuous improvement across digital channels
Review analytical results to make data-driven decisions to improve production while delivering customer-obsessed experiences
Collaborate with Marketing Science Team to forecast campaign results, author business cases, and publish campaign reporting packages that record the financial performance of the marketing investment
Embrace test and learn while being thorough in the management of details
Become a customer advocate – reach greater understanding of our prospect checking customer needs and segment pain-points
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Marketing strategy experience with a focus on end-to-end customer acquisition through digital channels
Experience working in banking or financial services
Demonstrated outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss information in a way that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
Ability to build a test and learn agenda through business case creation and stakeholder prioritization
Ability to prepare management-level presentations and influence senior decision makers
Strong project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently; must thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved jobs posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.
