In this Role, you’ll get to
· Build strong relationships with designated hotels to grow bookings, revenues and gross profit in assigned market
· Build and lead a team of Market Managers to optimize and manage successful accounts in achieving higher market share and revenue opportunities
· Monitor team member’s performance and provide guidance. Ensure the team to follow company policies and procedures
· Timely optimize the approaches of handling hotels inquiries given the challenges/issues risen from the team. Design materials and conduct induction trainings accordingly
· Summarize the characteristics of the assigned markets based on Trip.com’s group big data, and enact corresponding commercial plans and strategies for the teams, ensuring the target is delivered timely
· Identify the common issues from independent cases. Use out-of-box mindset to resolve them, and escalate the good practices to project team for replication to other markets
· Constant feedback to Shanghai HQ regarding to the market insights, competitor information, performance, system and product issues from hotel partners
· Provide regular weekly/monthly tracking reports
What you'll Need to Succeed
· Minimum 8 years of experience in reputable companies (OTAs, TMC, BedBanks & DMC) with proven track record
· Strong problem-solving skills with logical mindset
· Strong negotiation and influencing skills
· Equal depth of expertise in hotel partner development and new acquisition
· Highly collaborative style, with ability to navigate a complex and matrixed organizing to deliver the impact strong knowledge of the hospitality industry.
· Result and Data driven with a strong analytical skill
· Hungry to success but humble
· Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint and any other related software to help day to day operations
· Fluent in English speaking and writing
· Will to travel extensively across the continent
