We are seeking an experienced Senior Market Analyst to join our strategy and commercial team supporting major oil, energy, and infrastructure developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market intelligence, supply-demand analysis, forecasting, commercial assessments, and strategic studies across regional and global energy markets, ensuring that business decisions are supported by robust analytical insights and industry intelligence.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute market analysis activities across regional and global oil, energy, and infrastructure markets.
• Lead comprehensive market research, industry intelligence, and competitive benchmarking studies.
• Prepare, review, and maintain key market analysis deliverables including, Market Intelligence Report, Supply & Demand Assessments, Market Forecasts and Outlooks, Trade Flow Analysis, Customer Segment Analysis, Competitive Benchmarking Studies, Tariff and Commercial Assessments
• Analyze global and regional crude oil, refined products, and energy market dynamics.
• Assess supply-demand fundamentals, market drivers, consumption trends, and emerging industry developments.
• Develop forward-looking market forecasts and demand projections to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
• Evaluate customer segments, market opportunities, and evolving demand patterns.
• Conduct trade flow analysis, logistics assessments, and infrastructure utilization studies.
• Benchmark industry practices, tariff structures, commercial models, and service offerings against market peers.
• Support stakeholder engagement activities and market sounding exercises through data-driven analysis.
• Prepare high-quality analytical reports, business cases, and executive-level presentations for senior management.
• Utilize industry databases, market intelligence platforms, and analytical tools to generate actionable insights.
• Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, geopolitical events, and industry trends impacting oil and energy markets.
• Interface with Commercial, Strategy, Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Executive Management teams to ensure alignment of market intelligence with business objectives.
• Support investment evaluations, growth strategies, and commercial initiatives through market analysis and forecasting.
• Provide analytical support for strategic planning, portfolio optimization, and business expansion opportunities.
• Resolve market-related queries and provide timely intelligence to internal stakeholders.

 KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Energy Studies, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree is considered an advantage.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in energy market analysis, oil market intelligence, or commercial strategy roles.
• Strong experience in crude oil markets, energy trading dynamics, logistics, storage economics, and market forecasting.
• Proven experience developing market forecasts, demand projections, and commercial assessments for strategic decision-making.
• Experience working across regional and global oil and energy markets.
• Previous Middle East market experience is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting strategic planning, commercial evaluations, and business development initiatives is preferred.
