This position will primarily support new product introductions (NPI) and product transfer projects, ensuring successful process implementation from development through production release. The role is responsible for developing and documenting manufacturing procedures, participating in technical training, and becoming qualified to train production personnel and other team members on new processes and equipment.

Key areas of focus include process development and optimization, tooling and fixture design, manufacturing documentation, process validation support, and implementation of process improvements to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing operations.

Additional responsibilities include supporting equipment installation and qualification activities, participating in project execution and production readiness, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing engineering changes required for successful product transfers and new product launches.

An important aspect of this position is its hands-on nature. The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is expected to actively support equipment and process implementation, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, execute process improvements, and perform or support qualification and requalification activities as required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this individual are, but are not limited to,

  • Support transfers and new product introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Execute process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ, as applicable).
  • Implement cost reduction and productivity improvement projects.
  • Develop, update, and maintain manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
  • Create and maintain part numbers, routings, and travelers in Epicor.
  • Learn, qualify, and train others on new manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Conduct time studies to establish and optimize manufacturing standards.
  • Support the investigation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to NCRs, CARs, and PARs.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Design, develop, and improve manufacturing fixtures and tooling.

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ISO
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Technical writing skills
  • Minimum of 6 months of employment with Resonetics.
  • Formal education in a technical field or an engineering degree, either completed or with advanced progress toward completion.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • No active disciplinary actions.
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • English proficiency (written and verbal) is preferred.

Visa and passport are required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with, or knowledge in Laser Systems.

Experience with, or knowledge in Nitinol
