About the Team

The Manufacturing Assembly team is responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality production processes on the shop floor. The team focuses on continuous improvement, safety, and compliance with global automotive standards while supporting daily operations. Collaboration across quality, engineering, and production functions is key to achieving operational excellence. This role plays a critical part in developing talent and driving performance within the production environment.

What you can look forward to as Senior Manufacturing Engineer:

• Organize, schedule, and supervise shop floor activities within the assembly area.
• Lead and train operators and technicians, ensuring capability development and adherence to standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using problem-solving methodologies and ZF Production System principles.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and customer-specific requirements.
• Support implementation and maintenance of Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, EHS, Production) to meet operational targets.
• Promote and enforce safety, environmental, and health standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) on the shop floor.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues.

Your Profile as Senior Manufacturing Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly processes, or production supervision.
• Strong knowledge of automotive Core Tools, GD&T, and AIAG standards.
• Experience with quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and customer-specific requirements.
• Understanding of environmental, health, and safety systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.
• Leadership and communication skills with ability to train and mentor shop floor personnel.
• Intermediate to advanced English skills (preferred for global collaboration).
