Job Title: Senior Manual Test Analyst (Retail & POS)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (ASAP Start)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual Test Analyst with strong expertise in retail systems and POS environments In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of retail applications through comprehensive manual testing and validation of business-critical workflows.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions across billing, inventory, promotions, and transactional systems.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements
• 
  Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• 
  Validate end-to-end retail workflows including billing, inventory management, promotions, and transactions
• 
  Test POS systems, including payments, refunds, receipts, and device interactions
• 
  Identify, log, track, and manage defects through resolution using defect management tools
• 
  Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery
• 
  Participate in test planning, test data preparation, and test execution cycles
• 
  Provide clear and concise test reports and quality metrics

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  10+ years of experience in Manual/Functional Testing
• 
  Strong experience in retail domain systems and POS testing
• 
  Hands-on experience with:
  • 
    Functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
  • 
    Test case design and execution
  • 
    Defect tracking and management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
• 
  Solid understanding of retail business processes (billing, inventory, promotions, transactions)
• 
  Experience testing POS devices and payment integrations
• 
  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• 
  Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Nice to Have

• 
  Exposure to automation testing tools (basic understanding)
• 
  Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
