Job Description

The role requires critical thinking, hands on experience with admin systems and in-depth knowledge of advanced excel.

This position is responsible for providing complete governance to the process, perform review of the work performed/ establishing controls/ streamlining the process and managing client escalations/queries

  • Should be able to manage a team and coach them continuously to achieve business goal
  • To ensure complete operations management for end to end Record to Report operations
  • Required to possess deep knowledge of the all the activities, work flow, expectations of all end clients
  • To ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, monthly and periodic processing of client requirements
  • Should establish processes controls to ensure highest quality levels of performance is achieved on a day-to day basis.
  • To handle any escalation w.r.t. any operational issue
  • Should be able to understand & anticipate Clients business needs, concerns & issues, and be able to proactively resolve the same.
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve the client processing and provide value addition to client by exceeding expectations
  • Collaborate and drive any adhoc projects related to testing, new deployment, etc. with onshore clients
  • Ensure Internal Control compliance and External Audit requirements are met at all times
  • Review and preparation of financial statements for various legal entity and Notes to accounts basis Solvency II & UK GAAP requirements
  • Liaison with multiple departments (Input providers) during the close to ensure timely completion of deliverables/Collaborate for special projects
  • Support quarterly/annual audits by internal auditors, as well as independent external auditors
  • Ensure adequacy of internal controls over statutory reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting or MBA Finance with 14+years of experience
  • Must have worked on any of the ERP preferably Oracle, TM1 and Blackline
  • Must have 5 years of client management experience
  • Must have an experience of setting up a new process
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage team and clients in adverse situations in a professional and calm manner.
  • Any certification in insurance preferred
  • In depth Knowledge of IFRS and Solvency II reporting
  • Knowledge of Regulatory reporting, technical accounting principles and regulatory reporting requirements
