About the role

Nitro is looking for a commercially minded Senior Manager, Web Strategy & Performance to own the performance of our global web experience and drive measurable improvements in conversion, pipeline, and revenue.

This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of digital strategy, conversion rate optimization (CRO), analytics, SEO, and paid performance. You'll own the strategic roadmap for web performance, working closely with our Performance & Ops, Brand, Product Marketing, and eCommerce teams to improve how we acquire, engage, and convert visitors across every funnel, from first click to closed deal.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in web strategy and digital performance within a SaaS or B2B technology environment and a clear, demonstrable track record of web-to-revenue impact. Experience with using data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive revenue growth preferred.

What you'll do

Web Conversion Strategy & Performance

• Own and evolve Nitro's web strategy with a primary focus on conversion performance across all key acquisition and revenue funnels.
• Define and manage website KPIs including visitor-to-lead conversion, trial and demo conversion, landing page performance, funnel progression, eCommerce revenue, and pipeline contribution.
• Identify friction points and opportunities across the digital customer journey and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap for conversion optimization and website performance improvements.
• Champion a customer-centric approach grounded in qualitative and quantitative research into customer intent and behavior.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand, Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

• Lead the company’s experimentation and testing strategy across web properties.
• Design, execute, and analyse A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
• Translate behavioural analytics, customer insights, and funnel analysis into actionable optimization initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvements in messaging, CTAs, page layouts, forms, onboarding flows, and content experiences.

Paid + Organic Performance Alignment

• Partner closely with the Performance team to ensure landing page strategy, conversion tracking, and funnel measurement are tightly aligned with paid acquisition programs.
• Own the connection between paid traffic quality and web conversion efficiency, bridging the gap between cost-per-click and cost-per-SAO.
• Ensure that web experiences support, reinforce, and improve the performance of paid campaigns across all channels.

eCommerce Conversion

• Partner with the eCommerce team to optimize self-serve conversion flows including trial-to-paid conversion, pricing page performance, and checkout funnel efficiency.
• Bring a PLG (product-led growth) lens to how the web experience supports and accelerates the self-serve revenue line.

SEO & AI-Driven Discovery

• Partner with SEO and content teams to improve organic visibility, engagement, and conversion quality.
• Ensure technical and on-page optimization initiatives align with broader conversion and acquisition goals.
• Understand AI-driven website discovery and optimize how the company structures, presents, and measures content
• Evaluate traffic quality across all acquisition sources and prioritize by conversion efficiency and ROI.

Analytics & Insights

• Own web performance reporting and deliver actionable insights to executive stakeholders and the wider GTM team.
• Utilize tools such as GA4, Looker, HubSpot, Hotjar, Optimizely, or similar platforms to monitor and improve performance.
• Build dashboards and executive reporting frameworks that connect web performance to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in web strategy, digital performance, growth marketing, CRO, or digital experience
• Proven success driving measurable improvements in website conversion performance, digital funnel efficiency, and revenue growth from web.
• Strong experience within SaaS, B2B technology, subscription, or digital commerce environments.
• Deep understanding of CRO, web analytics, SEO, UX principles, digital experimentation, and funnel optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Experience with platforms such as GA4, HubSpot, Looker/Tableau, Optimizely/VWO, and CMS platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Familiarity with PLG (Product-Led Growth) or hybrid sales/self-service models.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale websites with global audiences and multilingual content.
