Job Description

WHO WE ARE:

Zinnia is the leading technology platform for accelerating life and annuities growth. With innovative enterprise solutions and data insights, Zinnia simplifies the experience of buying, selling, and administering insurance products. All of which enables more people to protect their financial futures. Our success is driven by a commitment to three core values: be bold, team up, deliver value – and that we do. Zinnia has over $180 billion in assets under administration, serves 100+ carrier clients, 2500 distributors and partners, and over 2 million policyholders.

WHO YOU ARE:

Senior Manager, Vendor Management is responsible for managing the end to end vendor

lifecycle across the organization's US and global vendor portfolio. The role primarily supports

Technology, SaaS, and Cloud vendors while also managing Marketing, HR, Facilities,

Professional Services, Staffing, and other business service providers as needed. Working

closely with Legal, Information Security, Compliance, Finance, IT, and business teams, the

role oversees vendor onboarding, sourcing, contract management, risk assessments,

vendor performance, and renewals while ensuring compliance with company policies and

regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Vendor lifecycle support

  • Support each stage of the vendor lifecycle — business case review, requirements and

vendor selection, risk assessment, contract workflow and approvals, execution,

onboarding, ongoing management, renewal, and offboarding

  • Maintain accurate, current vendor records across the contract, risk, and onboarding

systems of record

  • Support onboarding and offboarding administration — documentation, system

updates, and coordination with the relevant stakeholders

  • Track contract workflows through approval stages and flag anything stalled or

overdue

Data, dashboards & reporting

  • Own the 120-day renewal tracker — keep it current, and flag upcoming renewals to

the relevant owner with enough lead time to act

  • Build and maintain dashboards covering renewal status, vendor risk status, and

vendor spend across the portfolio

  • Prepare the materials behind the weekly and monthly leadership updates — clean

data, clear visuals, and a presentation-ready deck

  • Maintain vendor repository data hygiene — accurate fields, no duplicates, no stale

records

  • Turn raw vendor and spend data into something a non-analyst can read in thirty

seconds

Risk assessment support

  • Support the risk assessment process for new and existing vendors — initiating

assessments, tracking documentation, and following up on outstanding items

  • Track identified risks and remediation items to closure
  • Monitor cyber risk ratings and flag material changes to the relevant owner
  • Support vendor risk classification and recertification scheduling by tier

Duplication & spend analysis support

  • Support the ongoing analysis of vendor spend across entities to identify duplicate or

overlapping services

  • Build the supporting data and visuals for the consolidation shortlist shared with

leadership

Track consolidation decisions through to action and report on realized savings

Cross-functional coordination

  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, and business

stakeholders to keep contract and risk workflows moving

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal and external review
  • Support governance reporting and escalation tracking as needed

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

8-9 years of experience in vendor management, procurement operations, or a similar

analyst role, ideally supporting a multi-vendor, multi-entity portfolio

  • Strong hands-on experience with AI tools, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in

dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience building presentations and reports for senior leadership

audiences

  • Working experience with a CLM tool (contract intake, approvals, renewals), a

P2P/onboarding tool, and a TPRM/GRC tool

  • Experience maintaining a renewal tracker or similar recurring operational cadence
  • Comfortable working across regions and time zones as part of a distributed team
