CommBank’s Retail Banking Services (RBS) business is seeking a Valuations & Pricing Enablement Senior Manager to join our Home Buying team.

RBS is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience to more than 10 million personal and small business customers.

In this role, you will lead operational performance across valuation and pricing support for Home Buying channels. You will be responsible for delivering consistent, high quality and timely outcomes that support customer decisioning while maintaining strong risk and control standards.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Act as the front-door expert function for valuation and pricing-related enquiries across all Home Buying channels, supporting lenders, brokers, relationship teams, credit, coaches and associated lending functions nationally.
  • Provide specialist decision support across valuation and pricing, including acquisition, retention, new and existing lending, high-value and complex customer structures, and campaign-driven activity.
  • Serve as subject matter experts for core valuation and pricing platforms (including CommVal and pricing review workflows), ensuring timely, consistent and high-quality outcomes that minimise impact to customer decisioning timelines.
  • Manage and resolve high-volume frontline enquiries within defined service levels, balancing speed, quality, and risk while supporting time-critical lending decisions.
  • Partner closely with external suppliers and internal risk, compliance and governance teams to identify, mitigate and escalate valuation and pricing roadblocks, exceptions and emerging issues.
  • Own and continuously improve frontline guidance, process documentation and knowledge assets, ensuring they remain practical, accurate and aligned to current operating settings.
  • Drive operational improvement by identifying systemic issues, inefficiencies and customer friction points, and translating insights into enhancements across valuation, pricing and supporting workflows.
  • Support business initiatives and campaigns by enabling consistent valuation and pricing outcomes aligned to acquisition, retention and growth objectives.
  • Actively manage process, policy, risk and operational issues, including escalation, remediation, and feedback loops into product, pricing, risk and technology teams.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across Home Buying, Channels, Risk, Technology and Operations to ensure effective delivery, alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Model and forecast volume, demand and capacity impacts on SLA performance, aligned to Group performance and service management standards.
  • Use modelling to set SLA targets, tolerances and triggers, proactively identifying risk and initiating corrective actions in line with internal control standards.
  • Apply insights to workforce and change planning, adjusting resourcing and sequencing to protect SLAs and customer outcomes in line with Group workforce standards.
