A Day in the Life:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Travel Retail APAC, this role is responsible for driving business performance, merchandising excellence, and cross-functional execution across Travel Retail markets.
This position plays a key role in delivering actionable insights, optimizing category performance, elevating in-store execution, and leading commercial initiatives, while ensuring alignment with global strategies and enhancing partner capabilities across the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Analysis & Insights
· Lead weekly and monthly business reporting, providing clear and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
· Analyze key KPIs (sales, productivity, margin, CRM) to identify risks and growth opportunities
· Develop recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
2. Category Performance & Merchandising Strategy
· Monitor and analyze category performance across markets and channels
· Identify growth opportunities and gaps, translating insights into commercial actions
· Partner with global merchandising teams to localize and optimize assortment strategies for Travel Retail channel
3. Global Alignment & Best Practice Integration
· Represent Travel Retail in global merchandising monthly meeting
· Translate global DTC strategies into actionable plans tailored to Travel Retail
· Ensure alignment between regional execution and global priorities
4. Project Management & Commercial Initiatives
· Lead cross-category initiatives, pop-ups, and in-store activations to enhance brand visibility and drive sales
· Manage project timelines, stakeholders, and execution across multiple markets
· Identify and implement initiatives to improve store productivity and customer engagement
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE
· Degree holder in relevant disciplines
· 8–10 years of experience in luxury retail, merchandising, or travel retail
· Excellent organizational skills and time management
· Strong analytical and commercial acumen with experience in business performance management
· Proven track record in cross-functional project management
