Group Procurement partners with Group Technology and business stakeholders to maximise value from our strategic supplier relationships. The IT Services Procurement team is responsible for managing the commercial lifecycle of technology services suppliers that enable the Bank’s transformation agenda, operational excellence, and customer outcomes.

Reporting to the Executive Manager, IT Services Procurement, this role is responsible for leading the commercial management of strategic technology services suppliers that support Group Technology and enterprise-wide business priorities.
The role will partner closely with senior technology leaders, architecture, engineering, security, risk, legal and finance stakeholders to deliver sourcing outcomes, manage supplier relationships, and support major transformation programs. This is an opportunity to shape the future supplier landscape of the Bank while delivering measurable value, innovation, and risk management outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and deliver strategic sourcing, renewal and negotiation initiatives across the IT Services portfolio.
Build trusted relationships across Group Technology and the broader enterprise.
Support the ongoing governance of strategic technology suppliers through effective contract management, supplier performance reviews, commercial governance frameworks, and value realisation activities.
Ensure sourcing activities and supplier engagements align with the Group Supplier Lifecycle Policy and applicable procurement, risk, security, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the management of the broader IT Services procurement portfolio, including large-scale renewals, panel arrangements, transformation programs, supplier segmentation initiatives, and cost optimisation opportunities that support the Bank’s strategic objectives.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Extensive experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or commercial management within large and complex organisations.
Strong understanding of IT services, managed services, professional services, cloud, software, and technology supplier ecosystems.
Proven experience leading complex commercial negotiations and delivering significant business value through sourcing and supplier strategies.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively at executive and senior leadership levels.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, risk, service, and strategic outcomes.
Experience navigating complex governance, risk, and regulatory environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
A growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and challenging traditional ways of working.
