Chainguard is scaling quickly. More customers, more countries, and more complexity. We're hiring a Senior Manager, Tax and Treasury to build and own the infrastructure behind two critical parts of our finance function.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build, not just maintain. You'll own global tax compliance, treasury operations, banking relationships, and the policies and processes that support them. You'll work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Deal Desk, and other teams as Chainguard expands internationally and continues to scale.
You should be comfortable operating as the subject matter expert while also getting into the details. We need someone who can manage today's requirements, anticipate tomorrow's complexity, and turn technical tax and treasury issues into clear, practical guidance for the business.
Bonus points for:
This is an opportunity to build a foundational finance function at a company operating at the intersection of open source, security, and rapid growth.
You'll have meaningful ownership across both tax and treasury, with the opportunity to shape how Chainguard manages cash, tax risk, compliance, and international complexity as the business scales.
We're not looking for someone to simply inherit a mature function. We're looking for someone who can own the details, build the infrastructure, and make the function better as the company gets bigger. For the right person, the scope of this role will grow significantly alongside Chainguard.
We live and breathe our company values:
