Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Teamcenter Administrator to administrate and operate our Teamcenter environments across production and non-production landscapes. This is a pivotal role within our global PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) program, responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our Teamcenter infrastructure.

As a key member of the Technology Information team, this professional will be part of team of administrators and collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to deliver seamless PLM services that support innovation and operational excellence across PepsiCo’s global product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, setup, configuration of Siemens Teamcenter (2-tier and 4-tier), including Active Workspace (AWC), license server and all components in the Teamcenter architecture.
  • Sustain the Teamcenter solution (prod and non-prod) attending incidents, coordinating changes, troubleshooting problems, deploying releases through the landscape.
  • Contribute to the planning and perform Teamcenter upgrades, patching, and hotfix deployments using Deployment Center and other Siemens tools.
  • Support the integration activities of Teamcenter with enterprise systems (SAP, 3DX, F4PLM OpenText and other systems)
  • Implement security requirements complying with PepsiCo information security Policies
  • Implement monitoring tools and automation scripts to proactively manage system health and reduce manual effort.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and enforce governance for change management, access control, and audit readiness.
  • Interact with Infra lead to manage all with application Teamcenter environments (production and non-production), ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with IT standards in a distributed architecture deployed in the Cloud.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 9-11 years of experience in systems administration, with at least 5 years in Teamcenter.
  • Proven experience in sustaining and managing Teamcenter installations, upgrades, and integrations in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Installation and Upgrades - Install Teamcenter core, BMIDE, Active Workspace, Visualization, etc.
  • Environment Configuration- Configure environments with load balancing and clustering
  • BMIDE Deployment- Apply data model updates
  • Custom Module Deployment - Deploy server and client-side customizations
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter architecture, AWC, BMIDE, and ITK.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure), scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python), and DevOps practices are a plus.
  • Experience working with PLM platforms and supporting IaaS and SaaS applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with different technical teams
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is preferred.

  4. File Management System (FMS) - Configure FMS Master and Slaves for distributed file access
  • Monitoring, Logging & Performance Tuning
  1. System Monitoring for uptime and resource usage
  2. Log Analysis
  3. Performance Tuning - JVM tuning, DB indexing, load distribution, caching strategies
  • DevOps & Automation
  1. Automate environment provisioning and deployment
  2. CI/CD Set up pipelines for testing and deploying BMIDE/custom code
  • Security Compliance – have a security first mindset fostering a secure environment attending best practices and guidelines from InfoSec
