The Opportunity

This is a highly visible strategic role that sits at the centre of enterprise performance reporting, executive communications, and strategic planning. Reporting to the Head of CEO Office and Strategy, you will play a critical role in enabling leaders to track performance against strategic priorities, support informed decision-making, and ensure consistent, high-quality reporting across the organisation.

You will partner with senior stakeholders across Strategy, Finance, Risk, People & Culture and business leadership teams to prepare executive-level reporting, board and committee papers, investor and group reporting, and strategic presentations. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the annual strategic planning and budgeting process, influence enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, and help shape how strategy is communicated and embedded across the business.

This is a 12-month max term contract role based in Melbourne.

To Do This Successfully You Will

  • Lead the coordination, preparation, and continuous improvement of executive and management reporting across the enterprise.
  • Synthesise complex business information into clear, concise, and impactful reports, presentations, and executive papers.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across Strategy, Finance, Risk, People & Culture, Communications, and business functions.
  • Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and quality of reporting submitted to Group Office and senior leadership teams.
  • Support the development and execution of the annual strategic planning and budgeting process.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and business performance outcomes.
  • Partner with Internal and External Communications teams to develop content that effectively communicates the enterprise strategy across the organisation.
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timeframes and executive reporting cycles.
  • Maintain a repository of strategic information, key metrics, presentations, and enterprise insights for broader business use.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and enterprise initiatives, providing analytical support and project delivery where required.

Successful Applicants Will Demonstrate

  • Significant experience in strategy, business planning, management reporting, corporate affairs, consulting, finance, or a related business function.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to develop executive-level reports, board papers, strategic presentations, and business communications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional leaders.
  • Experience preparing performance reporting and presentations for executive committees, boards, or senior leadership forums.
  • Advanced presentation development skills, including the ability to create concise and compelling strategic narratives.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A collaborative approach and demonstrated capability to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • High attention to detail, commercial acumen, and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
  • Experience supporting strategy development, business performance reviews, and/or annual planning processes within a complex organisation.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
