The Senior Manager- Strategic Planning will drive enterprise-wide growth and transformation through market share analytics, value efficiency initiatives, and strategic project governance. This role is critical in shaping data-driven decisions, unlocking cost and growth opportunities, and ensuring disciplined execution across cross-functional priorities in a dynamic business environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Market Share Tracking
Analyze and report PRI’s market share performance to leadership, including segment-wise value growth vs. industry, market share trends, and dipstick analysis for key deviations; continuously evolve reporting in line with business needs.
Identify growth opportunities and provide early warning signals.
Drive gamification of market share metrics for enterprise-wide adoption and engagement.
2. Value Efficiency Lead
Lead enterprise-wide ideation to build a robust cost and cash efficiency funnel.
Assess feasibility, validate impact and effort, and prioritize initiatives.
Drive cross-functional collaboration, governance, and execution in line with agreed timelines.
Track realization of efficiencies and report progress to leadership through structured reviews.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by institutionalizing ideation as an ongoing enterprise practice.
3. New Product Launch (NPD)
Assess opportunities by estimating addressable market, industry sizing, growth trends, & market share projections.
Align pricing with marketing strategy, considering global benchmarks, competition, and price laddering.
Develop business cases, including cost cards, capex requirement, P&L, cash flow, and ROCE analysis.
Aligning top-down estimates with bottom-up sales inputs.
Identify key risks and define mitigation strategies.
Track performance and capture learnings for future replication.
4. Project Management Office (PMO)
Build and operationalize a structured PMO framework (milestones, timelines, RACI, escalation protocols)
Drive periodic cross-functional reviews to track progress and ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain a dashboard with real-time visibility on status, risks, issues, and interdependencies for leadership.
Proactively assess risks, flag deviations, and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.

Go-to-market planning (distribution, pricing, launch phasing)
Demand planning and commercialization tracking
Risk identification and mitigation during launches
Project Management & Governance
Project management methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid
PMO framework design, governance model setup, portfolio management

Knowledge of PMO tools: MS Project/Jira etc.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Python/R, sound presentation skill and command over language

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
6-8 years of experience preferred, with a strong track record in driving business performance through data-driven market share analytics, building business cases for new product launches, running operational efficiency program in manufacturing and supply chain function through PMO frameworks though gamification-led team engagement.
