Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Senior Manager, Stinger Launcher Program Lead You will be responsible for managing the overall program operation infrastructure, internal execution schedule, and ensuring that delivery commitments are met. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience on a challenging program, inspiring change and innovation, working on change management and transformation, and focusing on execution, driving results with a significant backlog, while fostering standardization, programmatic basics, and accountability.

This role is responsible for the successful program and flawless execution of the program, with the next year’s intention of increasing annual sales. Additionally, this role is accountable for the customer relationship that drives cost, schedule, and performance for a portion of the Stinger Launcher portfolio. This role reports to the Stinger Launcher Associate Director, Program Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Own the customer interface for your programs, fostering a collaborative "One Team" culture with the customer and ensuring exemplary standards of service and value proposition.
  • Effectively utilize and implement financial and execution controls (EVMS, Risk and Opportunity and RLPM) to drive execution excellence, process and consistency across programs
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging RLPM and CORE
  • Deliver projects on time and on schedule through leadership of cross matrixed teams
  • Maintain and manage key programmatic metrics, define milestones and critical path, monitor adherence to program budgets and schedules, and direct work to achieve these metrics
  • Support inputs into program Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term financial outlook and commits to specific financial goals and obligations
  • Perform regular program EACs, PMRs and business forecasting reviews.
  • Interface with multiple internal and geographically dispersed team members, ensuring consistent and effective communication to drive tasks and issues to resolution.
  • Lead through RLPM from startup to contract closeout
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience supporting development or production programs
  • Experience with financial analysis tools and project management tools and/or systems to include risk and opportunity management

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Program Management certification at level 5 or 4, or ability to achieve within 12 months
  • CORE certification or industry process improvement training
  • Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, management, and/or closeout
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in managing development and/or obsolescence mitigation projects
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a cross-functional team in a multi-regional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and establish relationships with external Customers and/or Suppliers
  • FMS Program Management experience
  • Working knowledge of EX/IM and Security requirements
  • Experience working US Government programs
  • Experience supporting TINA compliant cost proposals and synthesizing Proposal Review and Contract Start-up packages for management review and approval

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
