Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager of Sports Content and Development and Head of Sports Content in identifying, evaluating, and securing new sports event opportunities to strengthen and expand the overall event pipeline
  • Lead pre-event presentations and support event bids, grant applications, and the preparation of all required documentation to drive the overall sales and acquisition process for sports events
  • Reporting officer for Sales Coordinator to coordinate all stakeholder reporting and event sales processes
  • Collaborate closely with event promoters and across BUs to drive revenue-generating initiatives, including marketing, ticketing strategies, merchandise sales, sponsorship activations, and hospitality offerings
  • Be the to-go person of assigned accounts by liaising closely with both internal and external stakeholders such as sports IP rights holders, promoters, government agencies and internal teams to ensure the events can be impeccably delivered
  • Monitor event financial performance by tracking revenue and cost metrics to ensure delivery within approved budgets and achievement of financial targets

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in event management or any related discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in event management and operations, ideally with a sports focus
  • Good grasp of accounting and financial profit and loss statements is an advantage
  • A good team player with strong coordination & communication skills
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Passionate in Sports is highly valued
  • Fluent in spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin is a plus
