This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a technical expert passionate about building and scaling high-performing customer-facing engineering teams across the APAC region. The role combines strategic leadership, technical advisory, and cross-functional collaboration to support enterprise growth and customer success in a fast-paced cloud and developer technology environment. You will guide Solutions Architects through complex pre-sales and post-sales engagements while helping shape technical strategy and operational excellence. Working closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, you will influence customer adoption, drive innovation, and contribute to scalable processes that support long-term growth. Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage a regional team of Solutions Architects, providing mentorship, coaching, training, and career development support.
- Drive technical excellence across customer engagements throughout both pre-sales and post-sales cycles.
- Support strategic accounts with hands-on technical guidance, including architecture reviews, migration strategies, technical presentations, and solution recommendations.
- Partner closely with Sales leadership to accelerate business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback, influence product direction, and improve technical capabilities.
- Develop scalable best practices, operational processes, and repeatable engagement strategies based on field insights and team performance trends.
- Oversee regional planning activities including staffing, hiring, budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly performance reporting.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or related customer-facing technical roles.
- Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience managing and scaling technical teams in high-growth environments.
- Strong expertise in modern web technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and frontend development ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of software development workflows including CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and application deployment practices.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise and commercial customers across multiple industries and complex technical environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, and Engineering functions.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical involvement in critical customer engagements.
- Experience with developer tooling, performance optimization, edge computing, or frontend infrastructure is considered a strong advantage.
- Comfortable presenting technical concepts at customer meetings, webinars, conferences, or large-scale events.
