Team
Visa’s Emerging Products and Solutions Team in Asia Pacific is part of Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS), within the broader Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS)organisation The team provides solution architecture and digital solutioning support across Visa’s ecosystem, working with issuers, acquirers, group service providers, merchants, e-commerce enablers, wallet providers, IoT partners and third-party payment processors.
The team works closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Technology, Client Services, Risk,Salesand the markets, as well as directly with clients and partners. Its role is to translate business needs into scalable solutions, from discovery and architecture through pilot,implementationand production readiness.
This role will support the development and enablement of emerging VCS solutions by bringing together customers, industryparticipantsand internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will help turn new opportunities into intuitive,secureand scalable commercial solutions that can be adopted across clients,marketsand business verticals.

WhataSenior Solution Managerdoes at Visa:
Combine strong solution architecture skills with a practical understanding of commercial and digital payments. The successful candidate will be able to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, lead API and integration decisions, and use approved AI tools to improve the quality and speed of solution development.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions for commercial and digital payments.
Develop technical requirements, functional specifications, architecturediagramsand pilot success criteria.
Design APIs and technical interfaces, using existing Visa platforms and capabilities whereverappropriate
Use approved AI tools to support solution development, documentation,prototypingand testing.
Partner with Product, Technology, Client Services and Sales to develop solutions and address technical risks.
Support pre-sales activities through technical discovery, solutionproposalsand client discussions.
Conduct testing and pilot activities, incorporating feedback to improve the solution.
Transition completed solutions to implementation and support teams for production deployment and scale.
Manage multiple initiatives and provide clear updates on progress, decisions,risksand dependencies.

Qualifications
What you will need:
Minimum 10 years ofstrongpaymentsexperience,ability to designandarchitectsolutions, a strong payments domainknowledgeto be able to design and architect solutions,develop new use cases for customers and have a strong understanding of technical integrations for payments platforms
Experience as a solution architectforcomplexpayment related use cases for large client partners;managing requirementsof various payment playerstobuildpayment tie-ups and prescribing simple workflows to make more convenient and simpler
Ability to apply understanding of systems and processes coupled with analytical ability to solution architect complex projects involving interfaces between various systems within organization
Ability to build andmaintainstrong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Expert knowledge ofexisting and emergingAgenticAPI technologies and systems used in payments, mobile and e-commerce, authentication, 4-party payment model,authorizationand clearing process, near field communication (NFC) and tokenization while keeping step with market developments
