CAT Digital is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager – DevSecOps to lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of enterprise DevSecOps capabilities across multiple product and platform portfolios. This leader will have below responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the enterprise DevSecOps and Platform Engineering strategy aligned with CAT Digital's technology vision and business objectives.
  • Drive cloud modernization, automation, and platform transformation initiatives to improve agility, scalability, and operational resilience.
  • Champion engineering excellence by establishing standards, governance, and best practices across software delivery and infrastructure operations.
  • Leverage Generative AI and emerging technologies to improve engineering productivity, operational efficiency, and developer experience.
  • Partner with senior business and technology leaders to influence roadmaps, investment decisions, and long-term technology strategies.
  • Drive measurable improvements in reliability, deployment velocity, security posture, and cost optimization.

Organizational & People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing organization comprising DevOps, Platform Engineering and Cloud Engineering professionals.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, workforce strategy, and career growth initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across engineering, product, architecture, security, and operations teams.
  • Establish performance goals and coaching frameworks that enable both individual and organizational success.

Technical & Platform Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership for large-scale distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, CI/CD ecosystems, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
  • Influence enterprise architecture decisions, engineering standards, and modernization strategies.
  • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, platform engineering, and self-service capabilities.
  • Establish best practices for security, observability, reliability, performance, scalability, and compliance.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to ensure product teams are enabled with efficient, secure, and reliable development platforms.
  • Lead initiatives focused on platform reliability, availability, incident reduction, recovery improvements, and proactive operational management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
  • 5+ years leading engineering managers and large technical organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale cloud transformation and DevSecOps initiatives.
  • Demonstrated utilization of AI led efficiencies
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
