As a Senior Manager, Software Development & Engineering Lead within Finance & Corporate Administration Technology, you will play a critical role in advancing Schwab’s multi-year transformation by delivering scalable, high-performing technology solutions that support core finance functions. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution, partnering closely with product owners, finance stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise priorities and drive measurable outcomes.

You will lead multiple Agile teams responsible for both delivery and ongoing support of applications spanning core accounting, vendor management, regulatory reporting, and enterprise planning.
Success in this role requires strong decision-making and the ability to prioritize competing initiatives while maintaining alignment with business goals and evolving technology strategies. You will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, guiding teams through planning, execution, and release while ensuring quality, scalability, and operational excellence.
This is a people leader position that requires navigating a complex environment and includes managing full-time employees, contractors, and offshore partners. You will build strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into actionable technology outcomes and communicating progress, risks, and opportunities to leadership. With a focus on modernization, you will help drive adoption of cloud-based and SaaS solutions, support the transition from legacy systems, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
