How will I help?
The Senior Manager, SG Compliance supports the Head of Compliance, Singapore, to execute the Compliance Program and discharge the responsibility of compliance risk oversight for Westpac Singapore Branch (WBC SG). This means that the Senior Manager is responsible for providing quality compliance advisory and regulatory oversight on the Branch’s activities, which focuses on wholesale banking.
The Westpac Institutional Banking business is run as a global business within Westpac Banking Corporation, with Singapore branch (the Branch) overseeing the franchise from a Singapore and Asia perspective. The primary lines of businesses of WBC SG are Corporate and Institutional Banking, Global Transaction Services, Financial Markets and Treasury.
The Senior Manager, SG Compliance will work collaboratively across the branch and Westpac network to ensure all banking activities of the branch comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies. The key responsibilities are to:
