PwC Ireland is looking for a Service Architect for our Managed Services team, where your capabilities are needed to support our local business development activities, leveraging our global delivery network and 3rd party ecosystem to architect winning managed services and associated delivery chains to meet and exceed client expectations and to continue to grow our managed services business in Ireland.

As aSenior ManagerServiceArchitectwith a strong focus onbusiness development,you’llworkwith our local clientteams and our global delivery network and 3rdparty ecosystem to shape, architect, propose and winmanagingservices work with our local Irish clientsYour role is keyfor continuityduring thebusinessdevelopmentcycle in acting as thehub between thelocal account teamand our network andecosystemThe delivery of technology enabled managed services,harnessingthebestof our global network and 3rdparty ecosyst emYou will be the locallead responsible for architecting the solutionleveragingthe besttechnologyenabled managedserviceassetsavailableacross our network andecosystem. Part of yourServiceArchitectrole is also to workwithclientaccount teamshelpingidentifyother opportunities to add value totheirclientIn addition, you will be joining a fast-growing local team and will have a role in further developing and building the local team.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Designing and architecting managed service solutions andproposalsfor our client teamsleveragingthe right and mostappropriateassetsacrossor global network and 3rdpartyecosystem;

  • Developing collaborative relationships with delivery leads,internal solution labs and otherarchitects, and 3rdparties across PwC’s global network and 3 rdparty ecosystem to successfullyarchitect, price and sellmanagedservicestoIrishclients(typicallymulti-location, multi-team services);

  • Supporting client account team business development activitiesaround managed services.

  • Keeping up to date on latest trends in managed services(e.g. applicationofAI)and any developments within our network and ecosystem to enhance our managed service solutions and proposals;

  • Conducting service reviews to diagnose causes andidentifyremedieswhen a managed service is notoperatingas expected;

  • Involvement in contracting with our clients and our delivery network and 3rd parties.

  • Developingadditionallocal service architectsthrough training,coachingand mentorshipto further enhance and build our localmanaged servicescapabilities;

  • Building the local PwC internal knowledge and understanding of Managed Services;

  • Coaching and mentoring of consultants fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration,

  • Developingcollateral andinsightsto supportmanaged servicepropositions;

  • Working with the local Managed services leadership to further activate, develop and grow the managed services market forIrishclients;

Experiences and skills

  • Degree qualifiedwithrelevantservice deliveryqualifications(e.g.PMP,ITIL)an advantage;

  • 4+ years’ experiencein aService Delivery Managerrole, ideally withcomplex near shore and offshoredeliverychains;

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Service Architect role, ideally with complexonshore,near shore and offshore delivery chains;

  • Track recordinenablingclientaccountteams winsignificantworkwith clients bysolutioningwinning technology enabledmanaged servicesolutions.

  • An understanding of and interest inadvisory andimplementationprojectsand howthey both have a mutually re-enforcing relationship with managed services.

  • Demonstrable experience anddeep understandingofdifferentservicedelivery modelsandmanaged servicecommercial constructs

  • Strong relationship management skills and experienceto take service architect role across multiple opportunities / proposals;

  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills with proven experience.

  • An experienced people leader, with a background of inspiring and developing high performance teamsacross multiple locations and cultures;

  • A collaborative and pro-active team memberwith demonstrable experience ofnurturing, guiding and mentoringteams involvedinmanaged services

  • Experience drivingsales andoperationalexcellence and high-quality standards acrossmanaged servicesteams and processes;

  • Acurious andanalytical mind-set, with theability totranslate data into meaningfulinsightsthat supportsolutioning,informeddecision-making andvalue business outcomes

  • Effective communicationboth verbal and written
