Senior sales leader driving strategic growth across business markets through pipeline expansion, team coaching, and disciplined execution. Specific Accountabilities

  • Develop medium-to-long-range sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow and diversify the relationship with business customers.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team, including recruitment, development planning, and competency improvement.
  • Drive daily sales activities and ensure consistent execution across all channels to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Analyze and expand the sales funnel through strategic prospecting, segmentation analysis, and customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular skill assessments and implement targeted training programs to address development needs.
  • Champion the adoption of new sales strategies, tools, and methodologies to improve team effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain sales playbooks that outline best practices, objection handling techniques, and product positioning strategies.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives through performance metrics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Architect, Sales PMO and Product Management teams to develop innovative telecommunications solutions aligned with customer business goals.
  • Provide input for driving efficiencies into internal processes for contracting, ordering, implementation, and billing to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting tools and qualify accounts for appropriate sales treatment.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure timely access to relevant content, tools, and resources.
  • Participate fully in our organizational health and safety programs, adhering to all safe work practices and procedures and staying focused on continuous improvement. In addition, ensuring all Accident Prevention Program (APP’s) training, all Code of Business Conduct (CoBC) training, and all other Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training are completed on time.
  • Perform timely completion of all administrative tasks including, but not limited to time reporting, expense reporting and submission of corporate card statements, as applicable.

Knowledge And Skills Required

  • A post-secondary degree in business with a major in marketing/sales.
  • Five to seven years of experience in account management, product management, or direct sales is required, including at least two years in a leadership role.
  • Strong competencies in sales, leadership, interpersonal communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical abilities are essential.
  • Ability to maintain technical knowledge in a rapidly evolving telecommunications market.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (especially Excel), with experience in database management and record keeping within a Windows environment.
  • Proven organizational and adaptability skills in a dynamic work setting.
  • Demonstrated relationship management expertise.
  • Effective collaboration skills, with experience working cooperatively on cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Knowledge of the elements of a health & safety program will be considered an asset.
