About the Role

As Risks Governance & Assurance Manager, is responsible for establishing and executing a comprehensive risk governance framework for the program, ensuring alignment with the program’s Risk Paper and compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations. This role drives end‑to‑end oversight of risk mitigation activities, ensuring that mitigation actions are clearly defined, properly evidenced, and completed in line with key delivery and migration milestones. The manager acts as a central coordination point across Technology, Operations, Security, Compliance, Legal, and Operational Risk partners to ensure robust
governance and timely signoffs.

Key Responsibilities

RiskGovernance&Framework Alignment

· Lead alignment with the program’s Risk Paper, ensuring risks, controls, mitigationplans,andsign offrequirementsareaccuratelyreflectedandup to date.

· Establishgovernanceroutinestomonitorriskposture,assessmitigation progress, and escalate gaps or delays proactively.

· Maintainaconsolidatedviewofriskitemsanddriveclosurein partnership with functional leads.

MitigationTracking&Evidence Validation

· Drive,track,andvalidateevidenceofriskmitigationactionsand supporting artifacts required for formal signoff.

· Ensureallmitigationitemsarecompletedandevidencedaccordingto key migration milestones, including:

o SystemIntegrationTesting (SIT)

o UserAcceptanceTesting (UAT)

o DisasterRecovery (DR)

o Go-Live

· Oversee assurance activities related to security and control domains suchasaccesscontrol,MFA/SSOenablement,loggingandmonitoring, and data-in-transit/at-rest protections.

· Validatethatevidencemeetspolicy,audit,andcontrolexpectations before escalation for signoff.

Cross-FunctionalAssurance Coordination

· Integrate LISpre-DAreviewsintotheprogram’sriskgovernanceplan, ensuring early feedback and remediation.

· Coordinate BCMBISinitiation,ensuringBusinessImpactassessments and continuity requirements are addressed.

· Triggerandoversee OperationalRisk, Compliance,and Legalreviews based on policy triggers, materiality considerations, or delivery milestones.

· Serve as the central point of contact for assurance stakeholders, ensuringcleardocumentation,timelyfollow-up,andclosureofissues.

GovernanceReporting& Documentation

· Prepareriskdashboards,governancepacks,andmigrationreadiness assessments for senior leadership and steering committees.

· Maintainclearandaudit-readydocumentationofgovernancedecisions, risk signoffs, evidence logs, and mitigation status.

· Communicateriskthemes,emergingissues,anddependencies proactively to program leadership.

ContinuousImprovement&Control Strengthening

· Identifycommoncontrolgaps,recurringissues,orprocessinefficiencies and recommend improvement actions.

· Contributetothedevelopmentofenhancedriskframeworks,standards, and templates to support future programs.

· Promoteacultureofstrongriskawarenessandcontroldiscipline across delivery teams.
